Hawkes Bay Junior X-Country

Race starts at 9 am for Juniors 1.5 Hrs

There will be three Grades: Novice Ladies, Junior & Trail

The Novice Ladies will be up to 29 yrs then 30 yrs - This class is for first year or novice riders. Any Ladies regularly racing should be in the afternoon race dependent on ability.

Junior racers Bikes capacity can be up to 200cc Four stroke and 125cc Two Stroke MX bikes like the KTM range, the YZ, KX, RM and CR/F Race bikes. Classes: Up to 11yrs old and 12–13 Yrs Old

Trail Class for riders up to 11 yrs old on non MX bikes. Because many of the kids are MX orientated, those wishing more sedate or lower cost bikes have a distinct disadvantage. To right this we have homologated (agreed upon) the following bikes for this class and are willing to ad bikes that meet the criteria. Where possible, we will have a shorter course for the new Trail Class. So initially these bikes are suitable for the GNCC Trail Class:

• The Honda CRF range of 70, 80, 100, 110, 125 models,
• the Yamaha TTR range of 110, 125 and the PW80,
• the Suzuki DRZ 70 & 125 range and JR80
• and the Kawasaki range of KLX 110 & 140 Models
• plus many Chinese and Korean bikes as approved by the organisers up to 200cc.

Hawkes Bay - Tilson Cup

Tilson Cup first race is 12 Noon till 1:30 pm. Second Race is 2 Pm till 3:30

Tilson Cup:: Two Races with points awarded for each race. Each race is 1.5 hrs long with a 30 min break between races.

• Senior Grade:
  • Under 200cc 2T
  • Over 200cc 2T
  • Under 350cc 4T
  • Over 305cc 4T
• Ladies Grade: for all competitive lady riders.
• Vets: 40 Yrs & over all in
• Youth Grade: 14 – 18 Yrs up to 250cc bikes.

Monday is Holiday so those from Auckland/Waikato/BOP have plenty of time to get home.
