Juniors & Woman sign on by 8am Breifing 9:15am, Look lap 9:30am The look lap will be a pre run of the first couple of Km's as a warm up. Race duration 1.5 Hrs The trail will be approx 10 to 12 Km in length for the Juniors & Women Seniors sign on 9 to 11am Breifing 11:15am, Look lap 11:30am The trail will be approx 20Km loop for seniors The look lap will be a pre run of the first couple of Km's of the start for a warm up & a look. Race duration 3 hrs. It will be a shotgun start with dead engine, standing behind your bike holding the rear guard. We will also run a bungy start gate so you can't jump the gun. There will most likely be at least 2 rows of bikes on the start line, Intermediate class riders will be on the second row. Off the start line it will narrow very quickly to road width, slightly winding but fast, accross the start finish area, then top gear again, then sweeping right hander(4th gear if your brave. Remember trees don't move if you hit them) , long straight, then left into single trail. At the start / finish there will be some optional obstacles to negotiate, trying them may save you some time!, but will at least provide entertainment for those at the pit area. You must carry a fire extinguisher during the event!! MNZ Permitted event / Day licenses will be available Trophies to third in each class, Now added Ironman Vets 40 plus class! See you there! Prize giving for Juniors / women will take place once the senior race has started!! Senior prize giving will be at the "Shed Bar" Tuwharetoa St Taupo. Approx 6:30pm you will recieve a voucher in your entry to get a burger / chips meal & beer for $15.00. We will have helmet cam footage of the days racing showing on the big screen, & a bunch of trophees to present. We would love to see you at the prize giving!
