Honda Park. Maramarua Forest, Maramarua is Signposted at Kopuku Road off SH 2 between the Maramarua Golf Club and the Red Fox Tavern.

From Auckland Allow about an hour. The turn off to the forest is on the right 2 km past the Maramarua Golf Club on State Highway 2. The signs and arrows will start here. (turn right into Kopuku Road, then follow the arrows and signs till you left on to Schumacker Road. Yep it is confusing. Several crew members have been lost getting here. There are lots of roads that look right so watch the arrows.
Classes: - Kids Mini Track, colour coded track levels, heaps of options, lots of riding
Terrain: Colour coded tracks for the whole family with mini track, easy gravel road loop, intermediate loops and of course the main loops  plus the odd Expert off shoot.

Effective Immediately: FIRE EXTINGUISHERS COMPULSORY

Because of the fire risk, all Maramarua events require a Fire Extinguisher to be carried by those 16 yrs and over.

New Fire Extinguishers are available for sale at sign on for $30 or hire for $5 ($30 deposit with $25 refund for extinguishers returned in excellent condition)

Fire extinguishers can be carried either on the vehicle or in a bag on the person.

WE hope to get all the tracks graded before this ride - thus the weather will determine whether we get it done on time. Also if raining it will be postponed.

All rides start at 10 am through to the afternoon.
