Who will be Number 2 to the world champ Colin Edwards
Colin Edwards has re-signed with Castrol Honda for 2001, to defend his Word Superbike title. Honda will again be running the successful VTR1000 for the second year. It will be Edwards 4th season with Honda. \"I\'m glad to be back with Honda for another year,\" said Edwards. \"I\'ve won the championship this year but right now I feel like I\'ve got some unfinished business. I\'m told the defense of the title is harder than winning it but at least I¹m with a team that knows all about winning.\"
On who will be No 2 to the champ Team manager Neil Tuxworth commented: \"I\'m very pleased that Colin will be entering a fourth year with the team. He\'s already proven to be one of the fastest and most consistent riders in the world during his time with the team.\" Tuxworth added: \"Negotiations for Colin\'s 2001 team-mate are on-going and we hope to be able to make an announcement soon.\"
