2001 WSBK team changes - rumours, and more.

Noriyuki Haga has been approached by Ducati to run a team of his own. The deal includes his Yamaha team manager. The Haga team would have the option of running factory equipment.

Strong opinion also has it that Fogarty will retire based on his showing at Mugello, see the previous story. That would leave an Infostrada factory team made up of Troy Bayliss and Rueban Xaus who is being promoted from the Ducati Supersport Factory team.

Ducati were apparently trying to get Neil Hodgson but it now appears definite that he will be replacing Aaron Slight on the Castrol Honda.
