All practice sessions have seen a different lineups but in the one that matters to set the grid Garry McCoy came out on top with a blistering 1.40.736. Roberts who had been first home in the 2nd practice in the 1.41 bracket managed only fourth on the grid. Rossi the rising star in 500Gp went of the track and starts on the outside of the third row. Harada and Capirossi both crashed during the session. The first 8 riders are seperated by less than one second.
