Aaron Slight goes off the second row of the grid in tonight\'s big world superbike event in England.

Still on the recovery road from brain surgery, the plucky Kiwi expat put his Castrol Honda in seventh spot in the superpole qualifying lap at Brands Hatch near London.

More than 120,000 British fans are expected to go wild as pole position was grabbed by local wildcard entrant Neil Hodgson, just ahead of Slight\'s American teammate Colin Edwards.

\"I\'m happy enough to be on row two here,\" said Slight. We\'ve made a lot of progress with the Honda this weekend and I have a good set-up for the two race legs.\"
