Kawerau’s Tony Rees heads to Lakeside just outside Brisbane this weekend, to the penultimate round of the Australian Formula Xtreme Series.
Rees hopes to consolidate his 23-point lead. To this end the Team spent the weekend before last, testing his Yamaha R1, trying to overcome the handling problems, which dogged them at the last round at Broadford.
They first tested on Saturday at Oran Park in Sydney and then drove through the night, to test on the Sunday and Monday at Lakeside, outside Brisbane.
