The FIM have released the following press statement.
Case of Noriyuki Haga: Stay of Execution decided by the CAS
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)has today decided to stay the execution of the decision of the International Tribunal of Appeal (TIA)issued on Friday 30 June last against MR Haga.
The Court of Arbitration of Sport must now judge the appeal by Mr Haga, and will take a final decision at a latter date.
This clears Haga to ride at the Leguna Seca race this Sunday. So there should be some more fireworks from the Japanese rider.
