Troy Corser set the Superpole with a 1.36.185 on the Aprilia. It would make him favorite for Sundays race. He and the Aprilia go from strength to strength.
Katsuaki Fujiwara on his Suzuki has also leapt up the ranks with the changes to his bikes suspension settings. His rise has been a surprise to most of the fans.
Juan Borja was not able to beat the mark set by Fujiwara, but he is ahead of Bostrom.. The Spaniard will start from the front row tomorrow. He needs some good results if he doesn\'t want Ducati to be reconsidering their choice for the Infostrada team. Robert Ulm fills out the front row.
Colin Edwards was third but Ulm\'s time pushed him back to the 2nd row. Noriyuki Haga, came next with Bayliss and Bostrom filling out the 2nd row. Bostrom will be pushing hard to topple Borja on his home track.
Chilli, with his screwed and plated collarbone has surprised most people by even getting on the bike will lead the 3rd row. He is joined by Goddard, Slight and Yanagawa.

My two bobs worth:Great racing is assured on this new track but the best battle of the day (my prediction) will be between Borja and Bostrom again. Corser, Fujiwara and Haga to share the rostrum. But then again I could be wrong.
