The FIM press release today regarding Noriyuki Haga\'s suspension by the FIM from 5th June reads as follows,
\"According to the dispositions of the FIM Disciplinary and Arbitration Code, the prohibition of Mr. Haga to participate in FIM events is from now on suspended until the decision of the International Tribunal of Appeal (TIA). The TIA will convene within the next few days to deal with this appeal,\" stated the FIM press release.
According to the FIM, Haga\'s appeal does not apply to his loss of points from the South African round of the series - the site of his positive drug test.
