Crafar has lost his ride for Kawasaki. He was due to ride twice more In Italy and Spain filling the seat for Gregorio Lavilla who crashed and broke his pelvis at Monza.
Kawasaki will fill Lavilla\'s seat with Peter Goddard . While Kawasaki have thanked Crafar for his effort in his one race as a replacement rider, they have said they want a current Kawasaki rider \'for technical and marketing reasons\". So Goddard who was going to be racing the Kawasaki Britain team bike at Misano has got the call up.
It has been reported that Kawasaki was unhappy that Crafar was testing with Yamaha for the Suzuka 8 hour race next month.
