More Success for Kiwis at IOM

The Island was basked in sunshine for the running of the Junior TT, after cloud and light rain, had delayed the start of the Ultra-lightweight and singles by 15 minutes earlier in the day.

New Plymouth’s Shaun Harris on a Yamaha R6 was the first New Zealander home in 8th place, followed closely by Blair Degerholm (now living in Japan) on a Kawasaki ZX6R in 9th. Timaru’s John Hepburn on a Honda CBR600 came home 19th and Palmerston North’s Warren Turner on another Yamaha R6 42nd.

Unfortunately the contingent was not quite so successful in the Ultra-lightweight.
Although he lead the field away, after his win in the Lightweight 400cc class last year, Paul William (Dunedin) on a Honda RS125 could only manage 18th, narrowly beaten by IOM newcomer Nigel Bish (ex Hamilton now living in Australia) in 17th.

Friday Night (New Zealand time) will see the contingent contest the Production TT and Senior TT.
