Timaru’s John Hepburn, this week returns to the Isle of Man for his sixth visit to the Legionary IOM TT (Isle of Man Tourist Trophy) motorcycle races.
Last year Hepburn, achieved six replicas from six starts, two silver and four bronze. A feat, as far as we are aware, not achieved by any other rider.
This year Hepburn will be concentrating on Two machines (a Yamaha YZF RI and a Honda CBR 600) in only four classes. The Production TT, Senior TT, Junior TT and Formula One TT.
Hepburn has already been testing on the mountainous circuit and is more than happy with his 2000 mounts.
Race one for Hepburn is the Formula One TT on Sat 3rd June .
