A suggestion on the internet makes reference to an FIM rule that a racer is not allowed to race for a minimum of 12 weeks after any head surgery. This apparently expires the day before the start of Donington practice, and the team felt that Slight needed at least some practice before diving into qualifying. Hence the suggested current target is Hockenheim.
On the other hand, mcnews.com.au say that, \"Aaron Slight will ride the Castrol Honda on Monday to see how he goes. If he feels fine with riding - and a visit to the doctors goes okay he will be riding at Donington.\"
