New Zealand\'s hottest young motorsport star, world champs motocrosser Josh Coppins, races in Holland this weekend.

We\'ll keep you updated - qualifying results Sunday morning, race results Monday morning NZ time.

The Motueka-born 23-year-old has hit the big time with a Suzuki factory ride this year after five years battling as a privateer in the world\'s toughest motocross competition, the world 250 champs.

Last year he finished seventh - his goal this year is top five. A crash at round one (of 16) left him 12th and a fighting fourth spot at round two took him to seventh overall. His personal goal is to climb to fifth this weekend, then go on to take consistent front-running spots through the year.

Coppins\' teammate in the Alstare Suzuki Corona squad, Frenchman Mickael Pichon, currently leads the title chase.

Coppins is tipped as a hot title prospect in the next few years. Although NZ has one world title in the lesser 500 class, we have never won the premier 250 championship.
