The most exciting ATV event ever is promised for riders of the popular four-wheelers in the scenic central North Island later this month.
Three days of fun and adventure are in store for up to 150 riders in the Blue Wing Honda 2000 ATV Jamboree near Te Kuiti on 21-24 April, Easter, with more than 300km of tracks through some of New Zealand\'s most beautiful forests and countryside.
Places are still available at the jamboree which includes native forest tours guided by DoC, competitive events and family entertainment.
With support from a host of sponsors and helpers, the get-together also takes in a mountain man marathon, poker run, guided trout fishing trips, ATV rodeo, product prizes and trophies.
Good meals, hot showers and clean loos are available at the event, based at the Waimiha Sports Hall. Riders need a reliable ATV and helmet (compulsory), appropriate clothing and camping gear, caravan or campervan.
