Hello everyone!
We just wanted to send out a quick note about the team\'s first weekend and Aaron\'s first ride on the Aprilia RS250. We went to one of the local club races at Willow Springs to run in the bikes and have Aaron get a first feel for the Aprilia.
Aaron and I ran the bikes in on Saturday. Aaron adapted to the bike quite nicely and had an easier time adjusting to the production bike than he had expected. We picked up Danene, the assistant mechanic, Saturday night from the airport. She had just arrived in from Australia and we are happy to have her onboard with us.
Sunday morning Aaron got a bit more seat time on his bike and continued to drop his lap times. The team went through some exercises in the pits with set up and we feel the team and rider are coming together quite nicely.
The first race in the afternoon proved to be a success for Aaron and the team. Everything went smoothly and Aaron proceeded to lap everyone in his class! Second heat, Aaron again blitzed the field, continued to drop his lap times, and crossed the line first. We are happy to bring home his first winners trophy.
We consider our first weekend a success and look forward to our next few weeks of testing and club races. We appreciate your support and look forward to sharing upcoming news and results.
