The hill climb event at the annual Cold Kiwi rally is always memorable. This year was no exception. This afternoon, to the astonishment of all assembled, a very brave soul attempted the climb on what is probably the most inappropriate hill climb vehicle ever - a Honda Gold Wing Aspencade. Imagine the sight of nearly 400kg of metal tearing up the side of a muddy hill! Now imagine the sight of that same bike only making it half way before stopping and then rolling half way back down again! That is no way to treat a bike, congratulations to the hero who made the attempt.
