The FIM has decided to launch the lottery game \"Motorplay\", based on the results of the races of the Road Racing Grand Prix, Superbike, Motocross and Supercross World Championships, keeping it reserved for the time being to all users of the Internet.

It will be possible to make bettings on-line, until one hour before the start of the race, on the standings of the riders, on an experimental basis as from the Argentina Grand Prix, scheduled next Sunday 31 October.

The bettings are accepted as from now on the Website www.motorplay.com for the amount of 1.5 Euros for a minimum of two columns corresponding to two combined classes 500-125 or 500-250, and debited from a credit card.

The wins with the highest point rates will determine three types of prizes in money, plus a Jackpot and a SuperJackpot, with payment through bank transfer or cheque.

For further details regarding the rules, it is possible to consult as from now the Internet site of the lottery. The FIM assigned exclusively the use of the titles and classifications, to be used for the lottery to the Dutch company Velvet Goldmine B.V., supported by a technical partner for the computer management (the British company DTE), a group of banks and the credit card system Master-Visa for the administrative management and the Italian company Entourage for communication and image.

Anticipating information about the \"Motorplay\" presentation kit, which will be distributed to the international media by FIM President Francesco Zerbi on the occasion of the Argentina Grand Prix at the Buenos Aires circuit, the FIM is pleased to announce the birth of the \"cyber-lottery\" of the World Championships.
