Central MX Series Rounds 1 & 2
What great days they were!!!

Round 1
The weather held up which was a reprieve and the track was groomed nicely, which turned out to be a good track at the end of the day. The tracks held up relatively well, considering the weather that challenged everyone.

We had over 120 riders take part in the first round of the Central MX Series, which was great to see. Let's hope round 2 is even better!!!!

Let's hope the series continues to grow and build a renewed interest in the sport. It was good to see the Mini riders enjoying their new track.

Both tracks provided some interesting sections, especially for the younger riders in the muddy corners having to use their skills to not get stuck!!!! The ATV's were a great addition to the line-up, which were helpful in pushing the mud away to help dry out the track over the day.

The new installation of the speaker system was a great addition to the atmosphere, and surely helped us announce key notices. There were minimal injuries, with only one rider requiring transport to hospital for further assessment.

Round 2
Another great day in sunny skies for most of it. We had 170 odd (senior) riders turn up to the Tokoroa track hosting Round 2 of the Central MX Series. The day ran smoothly with only a handful of injuries, with 4 requiring transport to hospital. It is great to report that all of them were treated at the local hospital and discharged without requiring further treatment. We wish all those injured a speedy recovery and they're back out there soon!!!!!!!

It was great to see full classes, especially MX3 which ran an all-in feature to the class meaning full gates and an awesome spectator opportunity watching who got the holeshot and the quads provided some interesting watching, appearing to enjoy racing.
