The KTM Motorsports NZ Mini Motocross Championships were held on the 11th & 12th September in Hawkes Bay. The Bay turned on some great sunshine and an awesome track. It was an ideallic and picturesque location of rolling green hills which allowed for a long track that was a little challenging, yet fast and fun.
101 mini riders from all over the country enjoyed the 2 days of racing with well filled classes and a variety of bikes and riders. The racing itself was fierce with a lot of dicing and jostling for positions in all classes. This made for some exciting racing not only for the riders, but spectators as well. The young riders gave it there all and were well rewarded with T Shirts, certificates, trophies and a great weekend. Chris Morris Photos
