Round 1 North Island Cross – Country Championship – 28th Feb
The Nield family, in conjunction with the Northern Dirtbike Club is proud to finally be able to bring a round of the North Island Cross Country Championship to Northland.
Not since 1992 have we seen a National Cross Country held north of Auckland and we are privileged to have access to Sands farm at Waipu Caves, and thank Gary Sands and his family for use of their amazing farm, and all their work on the track to make this event possible.
Camping is allowed on the farm, portaloos will be there, but you will need to bring your own water.
There is also a DOC campground at Waipu Caves itself and another at Ruakaka. Other motel or bach accommodation is available at Waipu and Ruakaka, both of which are within half an hour of the event. Also at Whangarei which is about 45 mins north of the event.

Round 1 of this series is to be held on Sunday 28th February at Sands property, in Waipu Caves, North of Auckland, and South of Whangarei.
