SI CC (R4) & Nat CC (R1) @ Chch, Results *** update ***

The first cut of this prune was as follows:

• If you entered any one of the first three NI (Huntly, Raglan, or Pahiatua) rounds then you have been excluded from any of the SI series results
• If you entered any one of the first three SI (Invercagill, Oamaru, or Ashburton) rounds then you have been excluded from any of the NI series results.

This is not a perfect solution but the aim is to apply an easily understood (and something that can be easily automated) formula that reduces the possibility that a NI rider will get a top three SI finish or that a SI rider will get a top three NI finish.

For the 2009 season I think that such a prune will achieve the desired results. There may be one or two NI riders who end up in the SI results (and vice versa) but they are likely to be so far down the standings that it won't make any difference (and if you don't look too closely you'll never notice)
