Raymond Wilson from Bulls, currently leading the 125GP/250 Proddy class of the 1999 Suzuki Road race Series with his Honda RS125, has been selected by MNZ to represent NZ in the 125GP class at the first round of the Oceania Road Race Championships.
MNZ will also make a grant to Raymond towards his expenses. This first round is to be held at Eastern Creek, NSW over the weekend of 10/11/12 September, which also is round 13 of the Australian Road Race Championships.
Quite an achievement for Raymond, who is in his first year of road racing, after graduating from Miniature Road Racing (Buckets).
Apart from his existing backers of \"Mum & Dad\" & Derek Haycock, additional support has come from GT Leathers & Shoei Helmets.
Well done Raymond, & we look forward to seeing you at our final round of the 1999 Suzuki Road Race Series on Saturday Sept. 25th.
