The first round of the 2008 enduro season kicks off this Sunday at Waimiha. The forest has had the OK but Fire Extinguishers *ARE* required.
Also make sure that you have your MNZ licence with you. :-)
Some people don't like trees but I know where I'd rather be this weekend if the sun is out... not stuck out in a desert somewhere. That's for sure!
And, if you want to turn this into a 2-day extravaganza come marathon effort then rark up to the 4-hour Raglan Rocx cross country on the Saturday.
Both events have a well-deserved reputation for a good time and giving all classes of riders plenty of time in the saddle. And they are practically down the road from each other!
The big bonus for the Wellington region is that Monday is a rest day, being Wellington anniversary.
