Rowe Wins First Ever Vets Grand Prix.

New Plymouth’s Mitch Rowe, today won the newly created Veterans 40 years+ Open Class Grand Prix at the 2007 Honda International Motocross New Zealand Grand Prix, just outside Woodville.

Today was day two of the 46th running of the three-day annual event, run by the Manawatu-Orion Motorcycle Club. Yesterday was qualifying for Juniors and Veterans. Today saw them racing for Motocross Grand Prix glory under the brilliant Manawatu sunshine, we saw both the young and the not-so-young showing the motocross skills.

Sunday Jan 28 will see the cream of New Zealand’s motocross talent racing for the Senior Grand Prix Titles.
