ONE SPORT MOTORSPORT SUNDAY 23rd July TV ONE 3:00pm to 6pm
Geoff Bryan is back today and it is two great shows this Sunday with the return of the Australian V8 Supercars and round 6 from the Queensland Raceway.
3:00pm V8 Supercars - Round 6 – Race 1 - Queensland. The first of three races from the Queensland Raceway or the “paperclip” as it is sometimes called after the design and shape it has. We highlight the opening race for the weekend held on Saturday night raced over 32 laps or about 37 minutes of racing time.
3:40pm World Motocross MX1 – Round 9 - Sweden. The MX1 is back and another two races are featured. Josh Coppins also back at this one and what a welcome return that is.
4:55pm Indy Racing League – Round 9 – Nashville. The return to the ovals and the last night race of the season. Scott Dixon back on form in 2006 and is he a contender for the championship ,but to win that you need to place well across the season. That he did at Nashville and boy isn’t that great. The chase for the title is really on and it’s going to be tight.
4:30pm V8 Supercars – Round 6 – Race 2 – Queensland. The second of the races for the weekend and yep no more reverse grids so what’s the bet there will be a big pile up. Does it make a difference everyone has there views but in the end a win is a win, and there are plenty chasing those in 2006. The time is coming to stamp your name on this championship and carry that form into the enduros as well.
