Aussie Six-Day Riders Selected

Motorcycling Australia’s Enduro Commission has selected a preliminary 19-rider squad for the 2006 International Six Days’ Enduro (ISDE), which will be held in New Zealand for the first time from November 14-19.

The full squad is:

  • * Mark Goggin, NSW
  • * Shannon Lewry, NSW*
  • * Damian Smith, NSW*
  • * Brad Williscroft, NSW*
  • * Ben Grabham, NSW
  • * Chris Hollis, NSW
  • * Ben Kearney, NSW
  • * Darren Lloyd, NSW*
  • * Jarrod Bewley, NSW
  • * Adam Lees, NSW*
  • * Jehi Willis, Vic*
  • * Anthony Roberts, Qld*
  • * Glenn Kearney, NSW (based in America)
  • * Stefan Merriman (based in Italy) *
  • * Jake Stapleton, NSW (based in Great Britain) *
With the exception of Stapleton, Kearney, Merriman and Roberts (who will be on world enduro duty), the remaining 15 riders have been invited to a training camp at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra from July 10-12.

The final Senior Trophy (six-rider) and Junior World Trophy (four-rider) teams will be chosen shortly after this year’s Yamaha Australian Four-Day Enduro, which will be held at Moruya (NSW) from July 6-9.
