An icon of the 50\'s & 60\'s in both motorcycle & car racing, Syd Jensen from Palmerston North has died as a result of a stroke.
Syd was well known in both business & sporting world\'s of cars & motorcycles, and was one that took on anyone during his racing career as another challenge. Amongst his achievements was a Silver Replica at the Isle of Man riding a Triumph 500GP \"Spring Hub\".
Aviation was another of Syd\'s interests, and at one time he made kit set planes with VW engines.
