There is a move afoot to restore some of the famous Steve Roberts road race specials that he has constructed, especially the \"Plastic Fantastic\" which won Steve the New Zealand title of \"Inventor of the Year\" in the late 80\'s.
A Wanganui based \"Restoration Steering Group\" has been set up to raise funds & assistance to restore several of his fabulous creations, as part of the Robert Holden collection to be displayed in Wanganui during the annual Boxing Day Cemetery Circuit Road Races.
