This Saturday, 15 April, sees round six of the National Enduro Championship head into the hills above Pahiatua. This round is also a combined Central Enduro series event.
Travelling to the event is easy - head to the Tui brewery at Mangatainoka, which is three km north of Pahiatua. You will need to allow a further 10 minutes from the turnoff to reach the event.
The event will be run in a similar format to last year with bulldozed farm tracks over an unconfirmed distance, it is likely to be about 140km.
Tony Smith, the event organiser advises bringing two fuel cans and fuel will be carted to pit stops by 4x4.
Sign on starts at the usual 8am and the first rider will be away at 10.01am.
Note: The use of tear offs is prohibited this year.
