Paul at Mid South XC

Hi Guys

In the weekend I raced another Mid south XC. This track was near to Lorreta Lyns, Rnd 5 GNCC. So it was good practice and an insight into the terrain we can expect at the GNCC.

The course for the Mid south race was tight and there were a few loose rocks amongst the soil. I got a good start and let one of the locals lead me round the first lap. The track was covered in leaves and obstacles and old ruts were hidden under the rotting blanket.

At the begining of lap 2 as we got onto the now swept track, I moved to the lead and raced on to the finish, taking my second win in this series.

The bike worked great and my Moto SR/RG3 suspension soaked up all the nasty rocks and roots with ease. I am becoming more familiar with the 450 (and the 13 litre tank) now and am really enjoying riding it.

The team is also working well and we are looking for some top 5 finishes in the GNCC's.

Later, Paul.
