Round 4 of the National Enduro Series is already upon us this weekend and for a change it is being held down in Wellington. Makes it bit of a mission for all you Auckland guys but Kapi-mana MCC have set out a great track in tha Akatarawa forest
The Kapi-Mana Enduro is starting again this year from the Moonshine MX track, nestled in the Hills behind Lower Hutt. If your coming from Kapiti Coast way, Turn Left at Plimmerton, approximately 5kms past Pukerua Bay down SH58 take a left down Moonshine road, Event sign-posted from here.
For People travelling down through the Wairapa/ Hutt Valley, Take a right at Haywards Hill Traffic lights, (heading towards Porirua), up past a Power Sub-station on your RHS, continue on this road for about 5kms till you get to Moonshine Road on RHS, Take a right, event signposted from here.
After the enduro on Saturday there is going to be a trail-ride held on the Sunday riding the same tracks as the previous day. With limited access to this popular area it would be a great chance to ride some well-marked out and interesting trails.
