The Castrol Honda Red Riders motocross squad will this weekend converge on Palmerston North for the Annual Woodville motocross.

The Blue Wing Honda New Zealand International Motocross Grand Prix, is run by the Manawatu Orion Motorcycle Club at the Woodville end of the Manawatu Gorge (SH3).

Honda Red Riders and current New Zealand Motocross Champions, New Plymouth’s Shayne King and Opotiki’s Cody Cooper, have both done well at Woodville in the past and both are looking forward to further success this weekend.

The pair will be ably supported by Tauranga’s Peter Bloxholme.

This will also be the first time that the Junior and Senior Red Riders motocross squads have competed at an event together.

The youngsters, Taupo’s Lee McKinstry, Kumeu’s Carl Rice and Mangakino’s Cameron Dillon will use the race truck sent up on Friday and Saturday and the senior squad will take over on Sunday.
