Love and Fulton Show Is Ready To Roll:

The boys are back at Pukekohe Park Raceway for over two hours of aggressive high-speed motorcycle action. The Motorcycle Distributors 300km NZ Endurance motorcycle race ends a super-competitive season for New Zealand’s fastest riders, from four different manufacturers. Each rider will want to end the season with a win and Castrol Honda riders Jared Love an Dean Fulton are just two of them.

The stakes are high with the New Zealand Endurance title up for grabs, plus the historic Neville Hiscock Memorial Trophy – for the outright winner, and the Allan Ramage Memorial Trophy – for the highest placed South Island team.

The Castrol Honda team have elected to run two riders, although some riders have chosen to race the entire event alone – no mean feat. This highlights just one of the many areas which affect endurance racing. Other important variables which come into play include team organisation, fuel consumption, number of and length of re-fueling stops, tyre wear rates, rear wheel changing times, rider changing and physical strength. Each team will bring a different strength, but only the best team will win.

Love goes into this important race in a confident mood, “The lap times at the V8s and the Classic meeting have dropped by approx two seconds with the newly sealed track, so I intend to put my Castrol Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade on pole and smash the current lap record! Realistically, we have a good chance of winning and adding another title to Dean and my growing achievement list, and finish the season on a high note,” Love said.

A Le Mans start kicks off the 2 hour 10 minute event at 1.45pm Sunday.
