Round three of the eight round 2005 Maxxis Australian Motocross Championship was staged on the weekend at the undulating Echo Valley circuit, Toowoomba, Queensland - and there was no room for any Aussies on the Pro-Open class podium.

Hamilton's Darryl King who is fast returning to form after sustaining an injury at the Christmas Whakatane meeting took the top honours with 2 1 finishes, followed by Hawera's Daryl Hurley (1 3) and New Plymouth's Shane King (3 2). That resulted in the three Kiwis being the first three in each moto.

The Kiwis did not fare so well in the Pro-Lites class. Luke Burkhart finished 8th and Cody Cooper struggling to get back to his form in this class in 2004, 10th.

Keep an eye out here for race reports.
