Stormy weather and heavy rain prevailed at round one of the 2005 FIM WEC series at Guadalajara, Spain. There was some controversy over Cervantes pre-riding some stages but it was not able to be proved although so still could be some dispute forthcoming.
There was a lot of anger about at pre racing due to the changes of rules and conditions for the Enduro circuit for 2005. Stefan Merriman who had spent many hours testing and changing his bike was ready for the change in style of the special stages and it proved successful - with a win in his E2 class on day one.
The overall is not known at this stage but come back later for a full update.
