Riverhead Enduro:

The third round of the Suzuki national enduro champs is being held this weekend on the 3rd of April. With some light rain over the last couple of days the course should be in prefect condition, at one point a couple of weeks ago it was so dusty all the trail had turned to power and the dust was real bad.

This year's series is turning into a real cracker with all the expert classes (except the expert 250cc two stroke) having a different winner at each of the first two rounds. This leaves the series wide open which also makes for good racing.

First time enduro series campaigner, Ben Thomasen is flying on his KDX200 but don't discount last years champ, Todd Mardon from giving him a hard time at Riverhead. Sean Clarke, Phill Skinner, Robert Howe and Dene Humphrey are all winning their classes - but with the class results being the best four results from five rounds all championship classes are up for grabs.

Also there is an organised trailride to follow the Enduro on Sunday - so if you want to see what Enduro racing is all about head up to Riverhead and give it a go.
