Over 200 riders turned out to enjoy the mild weather at Taikorea today. It was overcast but warm with only a few droplets managing to fall from the sky. To top it all off the track was in awesome condition.

The addition of former New Zealand champion Andrew Hardisty added some extra class to this prestigious meeting. Andrew was unstoppable, winning three out of three in the A Grade Unders on his Bike Torque Racing Yamaha YZ125 and then following this with third overall in the A Grade Overs with a 7th, a 1st, and a 4th.

It was another outstanding display by the Robinson brothers with younger brother Michael taking a clean sweep in the 8-11 years class by winning all three motos and James winning the day in the Junior 125 with a 2nd, a 1st, and a third. This was despite the classy return of National Champions Ben Townley and Luke Burkhart. Emma Davis turned in a great ride with three strong 2nd placings in the 8-11 years.

Mason Slako was 1st overall in the B Grade unders with a very strong ride at the end of each moto.
