For the second consecutive year, the Mister Vintage Motocross organisers were proud to invite 1982 500cc motocross world champion `Bad' Brad Lackey to attend the Taupo event of their four-round series last Sunday. The American legend needed no second bidding.
Lackey, the first American to win a world motocross crown, was more than happy spread the gospel of VMX and to joke around with his new Kiwi friends at Taupo, before engaging in some fierce duels with those same individuals on the race track.
The next round of the series is at Marton, near Wanganui, on April 10.
