The Aussie Shane Watts: who is campaigning the very competitive USA GNCC series (Specially since it was joined by Juha Salminen) has fought hard to Overcome Injuries: to get back to his previous competitive form.
Shane regularly updates Silver Bullet on his progress.
"As expected on the 125SX I was last off the start but from there I just kept pulling forward, passing others mainly with good line selection. Unfortunately the leading trio had got away before I had made my way through the pack, and I could never bridge that gap. That was a little disappointing because I'm sure I could have fought for the podium again if I had been with them."
"At least I'm now at a level where I'm riding fast and consistent and picking smart lines. From here I need to lift my intensity and speed another level. It's time to start attacking the course and not being so conservative seeing as I'm back to the stage of believing in my ability on the bike. Now it's time to park the 125 and jump back on the 200EXC and fight for the lead."
Round 4 of the GNCC is scheduled for North Carolina on April 3.
