Round two of the 2005 Suzuki National Enduro Championship was staged by the Kapi-Mana club at Puketiro on Saturday 26th Feb 2005. This year the event was based at the Moonshine MotoCross track.
There were a few brief showers but, overall, the day was fine and warm for the excellent field of 46 experts and 93 intermediate riders who turned up.
If you check out the RESULTS: you will see that the elder off-road statesman, Sean Clarke (Suzuki RM250) is truly on a roll. Sean was fastest rider of the day in three of the four special tests with Glen Manning (KTM 450EXC) getting the fastest time in the first test of the day and going on to secure 2nd overall. He was closely followed by the young MotoCross star Michael Phillips (Kawasaki KX250) who is enlarging upon his offroad skills and finishing just a meagre 6 points in arrears of Glen.
