TeleSport NZ Ltd - Press Release:

More Motorcycling on TV:

TeleSport New Zealand Ltd are pleased to announce that the coverage of the YAMAHA "Battle of the Streets" event filmed last weekend at Paeroa, will screen this Sunday Jan 27 on TVNZ’s Shell Helix Motorsport programme.

"The coverage is great, the extra on-board cameras offer a different perspective," said Ian Rawkins (Director) from TeleSport’s Auckland base this week.
"The coverage nearly didn’t happen, but after the response to the Wanganui coverage, TVNZ really wanted Paeroa. So a rescue package was put together and many thanks must again go to Yamaha Motor New Zealand and Nationwide Accessories for contributing to the cost of the coverage." said TeleSport’s Operations Manager Jim Tuckerman.

Following the coverage of the "Battle of the Streets" - motorcycling is again popular with the viewing public.
