MXLarge.Com reports that the young kiwi, Ben Townley riding in his first MX1 event in Europe (Mantova, Italy) suffered misfortunes in all three motos.
He lost a chain and retired from the first moto, then crashed in the second moto while chasing Joel Smets. The KTM factory rider failed to enter the third moto after suffering an injury to his hand.
The event was won by the Rinaldi Yamaha rider, Stefan Everts.
