Kiwi Vintage Motocross advise that 'Bad Brad' Lackey, the 1982 World 500's Motocross Champion (The first American to win a world title) along with his wife Lori will once again be the guests of Russell Burling, the SsangYong importer in New Zealand. While he is in Taupo he will be catching up with his friend of 23 years, 'Flyin Fred' Merkel.
Brad will arrive in New Zealand in time to ride in a warm-up meeting at a classic scramble in Auckland.
He will then travel to Taupo for the 2nd round of the Kiwi Vintage Motocross 'Mr Vintage Motocross Series 2005' on Sunday March 13th. Brad competed in this round of the previous Mr Vintage Motocross Series.
