Photo - Josh and Ben, you will see them lining up on your screen in 2005:

And More Good News:

The good news for MotoCross fans and followers (Yahoo - MX1 On Screen:) has been confirmed by this reply from Jill Dicken of SKY:

Hello Bill,
Our coverage of the FIM series will be the same as last year and is due to start in April.
Regards,
Jill Dicken,
Programming Liaison Officer.

And then there was MORE good news from Matt Taylor and Peter Taw who had mailed SKY re. AMA and they received this response.

Good Afternoon,
Thank you for your email and comments.
As you may be aware we receive all of our Supercross coverage through ESPN who advised us earlier this season that they were no longer able to screen this event in New Zealand due to rights issues.
However we were advised yesterday that they will resume transmission from the 9th April.
Our coverage of the FIM series will be the same as last year and is due to start in April.
Regards,
Jill Dicken,
Programming Liaison Officer.

Our 'cup doth runneth over'. All this has to be good for the sport and we all benefit by having the sport available to us on screen in 2005.

To ensure the same happens in 2006 - when Ben Townley will be racing in that series - please say - "THANKS" to Jill Dicken for SKY FIM and AMA coverage.

And for TVNZ FIM coverage (Confirmation not received at this point) Matt.Hunt@tvnz.co.nz and Anna.Gowan@tvnz.co.nz:

UPDATE: Christine Gilchrist of TVNZ confirmed this morning (Tuesday); "Yes, we are to screen the MX1 class within Shell Helix Motor Sports".

That is good news that coverage will be available free to air. So YOUR grovelling thanks to Christine:to show your appreciation and assist in ensuring future coverage.

PS: You may have noted that Silver-Bullet was not available for a period yesterday due to the server having an upgrade. The Webmaster now advises that there will probably be yet another outage, hopefully very small, and hopefully not till after the weekend.
