Errol Will Get a Warm Welcome at Woodville:

NZ is hosting a visitor from Guam, Errol Angoco, who is riding at the HONDA NEW ZEALAND INTERNATIONAL MOTOCROSS GP this weekend. Who is he?

Name: Paul "Errol" Angoco
Age: 11yrs. (just turned 11 in December)
Class: 8-10yrs.
Country: Guam, USA

Errol is from the island of Guam, which is located in the North Pacific. It is part of the Marianas Island and is the largest of them all. The island is only 32 miles long with a population of about two hundred fifty thousand. Guam is a U.S Territory that one might consider a melting pot in the pacific. It is where "America's Day Begins".

Errol has only been racing for 1 year. He started on a KX65 and is a member of GMAC (Guam Motorcycle and ATV Corporation). Racing on Guam in comparison to New Zealand is still in it's infancy stage. The largest start Errol has been up against is 15 riders, so you could only imagine that it is a small club and the only one on Guam.

Errol and his family (dad Paul, mom Rita and sister Brittany) were invited to New Zealand by James Robinson while James was in Guam participating in the Asian Supercross Championships in 2004. James was able to coach Errol and spend time with his family.

Errol is here to experience a different venue and see what New Zealand racing is like. He is very excited and is hoping to gain a wealth of knowledge about good sportsmanship and safe riding techniques.

The Angoco Family say; "We would like to extend a gratitude of thanks to the Robinson Family for hosting us, AFC Motorcycles: Kawasaki New Zealand: and the many others who have made our visit very enjoyable!"
