Kawasaki Team Green Prepares For Woodville:

This year’s New Zealand Motocross Grand Prix event at Woodville will again see a strong Kawasaki Team Green presence.

The Junior squad will be lead by Cambridge’s Kirk Bezzant and Taupo’s Brad Groombridge and ably supported by a strong South Island contingent. With the likes of Motueka’s Sam Pascoe, Nelson’s Troy Norris and Invercargill’s Mathew and Ryan Harrington making the trip to soak up the experience of one of New Zealand’s biggest Motocross.

There are also a host of other promising riders attending such as Regan Hose, Cameron Dillon, The Edwards and Stone boys and Rhys Carter to mention a few.

All of the juniors will be chasing Woodville glory hard, as this events results are used as an early indicator of form for the up coming Nationals.

Cambridge’s Michael Cotter heads the Senior group with a new job and some new found form, he will be attempting a two-class assault riding a KX250-R1 and a KX250-F. Cotter will ably backed by experience riders such as Christchurch’s Graeme Allan on his Superior Motorcycles KX250-R1 and local rider Leon Andrews on his AFC Motorcycles KX 250-F .

Not forgetting the Young Guns, Rotorua’s Michael Phillips and Hamilton’s Jesse Wiki both mounted on KX250-F who will be out to stamp their mark on this event. Young Australian Josh Strang returning to New Zealand on his KX250-F but this time as a senior, will join them in their quest.

So this weekend Woodville is the place to be to watch the GREEN banner fly.
