Ben Townley spoke to Dirt Bike Rider very frankly. Amongst other things, he said:
"It was always my dream (to go to America in 2006) and I've got to do it. I've got to try it out - if I didn't I would never know. It's gonna take a while to get up to pace with Carmichael, Reed and Stewart - particularly in SX - and I've set myself three years over there to get that far".
